    Hi,

I’ve run a couple experiments with QRTEngine and I’ve noticed that in some cases the RTs are save in a format including a decimal period, for instance 837.338134765625 and in some cases the RT would just be 837. I haven’t been able to figure out what influences this, but it is a bit annoying when cleaning the data, as SPSS keeps interpreting those values as strings.

Anything I can do about this?

    Hello Bastiaan,

This is due to different timers used in different browsers. The engine has the fallback option to use the old timer when the new timer is not available (see details in the paper) and this produces integer values.

I usually open the CSV file in Excel and then import the saved xls file into SPSS. Is that solving your issue?

    Best,

    Henk van Steenbergen
