I’m trying to run the Parser on a Windows 7 64-bit machine. I downloaded the appropriate Parser file and extracted the files. When I try opening the QRTEParse.bat file, a command window briefly flashes and then nothing happens.

I can’t figure out how to run the program – am I missing a step?

    Hi Lindsay,

Not sure whether I can help but will try. Are you sure you are running the bat file from the extracted folder? Did you extract the files to a particular folder without server paths including \\? Perhaps try extracting it to the root of an external disk directly (e.g. USB drive). Does it work when running the bat file in the extracted folder from this drive? I am not sure whether this helps but I remember vaguely that there was an issue with paths. If this does not help, I hope Erwin (or another experienced user) can provide the answer.

    Best, Henk

Thanks for the reply! I figured out that the problem was that I didn’t have Java downloaded. This is also a problem if the version of the Parser and Java (32-/64-bit) aren’t consistent.
